Refund & Returns Policy

Cakehouse at Baking Buddha

Every cake at Baking Buddha is baked fresh to order with care. We want you to receive exactly what you imagined. If something is genuinely wrong, we will make it right.


Eligible for a refund

  • Cake received is significantly different from what was ordered
  • Visible mould, spoilage, or a foreign object found inside
  • Structural damage caused during delivery (not customer handling)
  • Wrong flavour or wrong size delivered

How to raise a complaint

  1. Take a clear photo or short video showing the issue
  2. Email us within 24 hours of receiving your order
  3. Include your order number or the name on the order

A photo or video is required to process any quality complaint. Without visual proof, we are unable to assess the issue. Our team will respond within 1 business day.


Resolution — what you can receive

Depending on the nature of the issue, our team will offer one of the following:

  • Partial coupon — for minor quality issues, redeemable on your next order
  • Full voucher — for significant quality failures or wrong orders

Resolution type is assessed case by case. Coupons and vouchers are valid for 30 days and applicable on bakingbuddha.in and order.bakingbuddha.in.


Not eligible for a refund

  • Change of mind after the order has been placed
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
  • Cake not stored properly after delivery
  • Dissatisfaction with sweetness, density, or taste preference — all recipes are standardised
  • Cancellations after baking has commenced (same-day or less than 8 hours before delivery)

Cash refunds

We do not offer cash or bank transfer refunds at this time. All resolutions are issued as store coupons or vouchers.
